Technical Difficulties...
Well, both babies are napping and so I sat down here to type up a whole pile of blog posts. I was looking through my pictures picking the best ones, and thinking about how to put together each post. Then I tried to upload some pictures and my vision of a week's worth of posts done in one sitting flew out the window. Apparently blogger only gives you 1 GB of free upload space?! Surely there's a way around this, or does everyone pay to put photos on their blogs? Either way, until I can figure this one out, you're just going to have to wait to see what we've been up to. Dang technology!

You've used up 1 GB already? That seems odd. Do you upload your photos at full size (as they come out of the camera) or are you reducing them at all before uploading them?
ReplyDeleteI've just been uploading at full size. I don't have the know-how to edit my pictures, so I never thought it was worth taking the time to shrink the pictures down smaller just so I could say I did that. I didn't know that you have a limit to how much you can upload to your blog, and since I upload to three blogs from this account I managed to use up all my space already.
ReplyDeleteFor anyone who may be reading this and having the same problems, after some research I discovered that any picture whose longest side is smaller than 800 pixels does not count towards your upload total and you can continue to upload this size of photo even after you've hit your 1GB. If you're like me and you don't have a photo editing program, don't despair. You can use the Paint program that comes standard on every computer with a Window's operating system.
